The settlement of Oxford County, Ontario, Canada began before it's name was chosen and it's boundaries established. In the year 1800, this area was finally formed and known as "Oxford". The first cemeteries were opened circa 1830. This free and searchable database, now maintained by Oxford County Library, contains the 102 cemeteries found in Oxford County. Under each respective township are listed the cemeteries found within it's borders. To find the headstone photographs, click on a cemetery.
