SMITH and ESTHER WHETSTONE,  granddaughter of CHARLES SMITH and ELIZABETH
ORME, great-granddaughter of SARAH, WIFE OF JAMES ORME.

CHARLES  SMITH born 8 October 1830 near New Bandon, on Chaleur Bay, New
Brunswick son of Thomas Smith and Elizabeth Bateman who were married in 20 May
1820 Rathclaren, County, Cork, Ireland. Thomas and Elizabeth  moved to
Cochocton, Ohio ca. 1838 then to Pickering Township, Ontario County, Ontario by
1842. Charles Smith farmed 8th concession, East Nissouri Township, later
retired to village of Kintore. Charles died 25 December 1910. His wife,
ELIZABETH ORME born 8 August 1835 London Township daughter of James Orme from County
Antrim, Ireland and Sarah Brown Hughes, also from Ireland. Interred Kintore
Old Methodist Cemetery.  Elizabeth Orme Smith died 13 February 1916. - Bonnie Ostler

HENRY SMITH born in 1833 near New Bandon on Chaleur Bay, New Brunswick owned a
farm on 6th concession of Nissouri Township at time of death  10 July 1858, age
25 yrs, unmarried    (photo shows stone laid flat on ground  half covered by sod.).
